Chris Brown Gives Sincere Apology on Camera

Last month I put up a post after Chris Brown received his sentencing on his assault charges. Today, he finally speaks out and gives his formal apology to the public.

Accepting responsibility is a hard thing to do but necessary when owning up to your mistakes. I think his apology is a real one and I'm happy he did it. But like I said before, there is only ONE judge.

  8. i agree. at the end of the day he has to answer to only one person and thats God.

ima still support him as an artist!!

  9. totally agree. I said the same thing on my blog. There is only ONE judge and his judgment is the only one that matters. Owning up to his mistakes makes him a Man. Apology excepted in my book.

  10. If God can forgive, why can't man? I mean clearly he knows he made a mistake and has owned up, which is hard to do in some cases. None of us are perfect so don't let this one mistake make you think differently. Personally I could care less what goes on in his peronal life, as long as he delivers us the great music he has over the last 4 or 5 yrs!

  11. @anon the president reads cue cards that doesn't make his apology any less authentic.

CB doesn't OWE us an apology...he's apologized to the ppl involved in the situation and has gone out of his way to apologize publicly...and to me that screams SINCERITY ;o)

  12. Eh, only God can judge. He apologized, so who am i to judge him. Kudos on Chris coming out with it. Hey, better late than never, right?

  13. Exactly there is only ONE Judge;
    Im glad he finally decided to apologize;
Although his speech is clearly written.

  14. i think it would have felt more authentic if he hadn't been reading from cards but the reality is we as people have no right to pass judgement on one another. like Trey said, God is the only judge

  15. I love that Chris finally spoke about the incident... I honestly feel like his apology was sincere and he is truly sorry for what transpired between him and Rihanna. The bad thing is things like this happens a lot but because he's Chris Brown and he's in the public eye, he had to suffer way more than someone thats not in the public eye...CHRIS WE KNOW THAT PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES...ITS ALL ABOUT LEARNING FROM THEM....KEEP SMILING CHRIS!! nad doncing of course lol

  17. Definitely reading form something but we are all human. For some reason, i am really anticipating his next album because it will have to more substance for it to survive the storm that he has been going through.

  18. If people who lost part of their body parts to sharks while swimming in the ocean can forgive sharks and try to save and rescue them from extinction, when thousands are slaughtered just to satisfy the palate, then I hope that we as people can forgive one of our own, CHRIS
    Apology accepted
    PEACE!

  20. Is it fair to say that being in the public eye a lot of people feel Chris Brown owes "THE PUBLIC" an apology? Personally I don't. I feel thats where "THE MEDIA" crosses the line of invasion of privacy. He is a entertainer of music. What goes on in his personal life should not be of our concern.

It does takes true courage to openly apologizes to anyone for whatever the reason. He is accepting responsibility on his part. Remember there's always 2 sides 2 a story.

Script or no script....Lets Not throw stones people. Only God can judge. He knows his heart and his sincerity.

I still support both Chris Brown & Rhianna! We Live and We Learn!

    God Bless!

  21. I wish he had not apologized publicly...

it seems that the media had finally stopped talking about the incident.

Everyone makes mistakes, we just dont' have cameras following us everywhere we go.

  22. When all that junk first start happening i was like " well hey let them live their lives and do them cause if it happened to a regular person it wouldn't be in the media like that so why cant people just leave them alone and let them work things out in privacy?" now im like "finally its over lets get chris back in the studio so i can see him dancin in a video again Dammit" lol i still like Chris so i hope he get it all the way together soon.

  23. he is def reading that...what if it was your sister? would u forgive?

    ReplyDelete
  24. i agree, cuz ultimately how we feel about him being innocent or not doesnt matter.. and at least he does see his faults AND made an apology, he didnt have to apologize to us, but he did..

    ReplyDelete
  25. Forgive and Forget cause if you don’t forget, it’s like you never forgave in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Did he forgive his mother's beater? Yea. Uh huh.

    ReplyDelete
  27. All of you who are trippin because he's reading a damn cue card need to get over yourselves! Obviously the man wanted to have his true thoughts on paper so he could express them the way he saw fit. So what?! Honestly, we all need to move on from this. Domestic violence plagues us on a daily basis and I don't see any of us boycotting at the police stations when they let out TRUE WIFE BEATERS TO BACK TO ABUSING THEIR PARTERS AND OR FAMILY. Instead we are so infatuated with "celebrites" that had a scuffle. It shows that Chris is truly remorseful for his actions and I'm sure he's the type of person that learns his lesson once. LET'S KEEPING MOVING NOW.

  29. I forgive him. He did wrong but He has become a better person by accepting that, moving on and finding God. We all do messed up things but we are not on television. Lets pray for him and let him and rihanna move on...

  30. he clearly was reading this or rehearsed this apology. if he's sincere only rihanna can be the judge of that. it's a joke that he got 5years of probation. although we don't know exactly what went down but if he actually put his hands on her 5 years of probation is a joke, not because he's a celebrity but because the crime was not taken seriously. and if he didn't put his hands on her then probation is just fine. plus that "oops" chain he has...like really, if he meant the apology at any time he would have never bought it.

  31. its deff not sincere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. Please forgive him.He had the courage to step up in front of the camera and say hes sorry to his fans and to his fans.
